Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the most beautiful woman in the world was born on this day – 39 years ago on November 1st 1973, in Mangalore, a coastal city in Karnataka.

She was crowned the Miss World in 1994 and made her Bollywood debut in 1997 with Aa Ab Laut Chale, which didn’t do well at the box-office.

In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan and now she is mother to a 1 year old girl child Aaradhya Bachchan.
